This Blog gives me an opportunity to take people “behind the scenes” in my art. This is where I can present work that does not fit into the portfolio space of my website – or simply where I can introduce new work before it finds its way onto the site. It is current, spontaneous, and constantly changing, allowing friends and clients to get a better sense of my creative process.

I am always struck by how ideas develop a life of their own, lead the artist to new ideas, and present interesting and unforeseen possibilities to explore. As I launch into new explorations, I look forward to sharing what develops. Check my Blog and become a subscriber if you want to see how life in my studio unfolds next!

| " My oils are finished alla prima in the field... decorated with suicidal bugs... my shirt soaked in sweat. This is authentic 'guerrilla' painting, backpacking everything into remote locations... enraptured there until the light fails. ." |
