New Location

I have relocated! In the last year I have left the big city in Alberta and now reside on a delightful little island off of the coast of British Columbia, Canada. Quadra Island has a vibrant arts community and an annual studio tour, which I highly recommend. Check out their web page at here: www.quadraislandarts.ca

We have built a lovely new studio for me here, but I can’t use it for painting yet – we are living in it while we build the house! But I have rented a working space and am able to continue to paint. I fell that I am surrounded by inspiration here and look forward to interpreting the things I see from my kayak on my canvases!

Painting Gets Award

I was very happy to see that my painting "Reflection: Burmis Lake" received an award certificate from Canadian Brushstrokes Magazine.

Please check out my blog!

This blog was developed as a way of sharing my adventure into the world of plein aire (outdoors, on location) landscape painting.

Be sure to keep an eye out for new work soon to emerge from the studio – it shows up here first!
