Kanish Bay Soliloquay
Quadra Island, BC
48 x 32 in.
Oil on canvas

Kanish Bay is at the north end of the island where I live and has become a beloved area for recharging my soul. Poking along the shoreline reveals new things with every visit. The changing character of the water, the enclosing beauty of the forest and the dramatic cliffs and rocky shores hold a beauty that is rediscovered with each visit.

"Those who live by the sea can hardly form a single thought
of which the sea would not be part."
~ Harmann Broch
