Coastal Contemplation
Broughton Archipelago
24 x 36in.
Oil on canvas

There are times when the tide is just right, the ocean is beautifully calm and the light is luminous – when you can drift  under the overhanging trees and feel enfolded by the landscape. The rocks on the shore, the lichens dripping from the branches and the sea life visible through the still water – the senses are drenched in wonder.

“In still moments by the sea life seems large-drawn and simple.
It is there we can see into ourselves.”
~ Rolf Edberg
